Stellar Slider Hooklift System
34,000-Pound Capacity Sliding Jib Hooklift
The Stellar Slider34 hooklift is a body handling system mounted on a truck chassis that is capable of loading, unloading and dumping various bodies with lengths ranging from 14’ to 20’ (4267mm to 6096mm) with the use of a hexagonal sliding jib. Now with an adjustable hook height, the Slider34 will handle 54" (1372mm) or 61.75" (1568mm) hook height bodies and will accommodate capacities up to 34,000 pounds (15,422kg). The maximum dump angle is 50° on a 41-inch (1,041mm) high truck frame.

This class of hooklift is known for its versatile design, ease of operation and popularity in the waste industry. All models of the Stellar Shuttle feature greaseless bushings, the Stellar patented dump/load interlock system, and an efficient low flow/high pressure hydraulic system. Rugged rear body tie-downs insure body stability when in transit). Stellar Slider hooklifts provide a full-length dump frame and rollers positioned throughout the loader, instead of saddles with wear pads. All Stellar hooklifts operate using in-cab controls. This allows for precise metering of the manual hydraulic valve while offering a clear and safe view of the operation through the rear window.
The Stellar Slider still maintains all of Stellar’s safety and mechanical features including the in-cab controls and safety latches.
- The Slider will accommodate various length bodies and still attain the maximum rated dump angle.
- Standard in-cab cable controls which allow for precise feathering.
- Mechanical rear body tie-down system will match a multitude of different latch configurations.
The Stellar Slider34 comes with a standard fixed hook height of 54" (Optional 61.75" hook height is available) or a hydraulic adjustable version at 54" or 61.75"
